The Last Exploits of the Olsen Gang (Danish: Olsen-bandens sidste bedrifter) is a 1974 Danish comedy film directed by Erik Balling and starring Ove Sprogøe. This was the sixth film in the Olsen Gang-series and at the time of production it was to be the last one. It was selected as the Danish entry for the Best Foreign Language Film at the 47th Academy Awards, but was not accepted as a nominee.[1]

Plot

After last robbery Olsen Gang went to Majorca, but without any money, as Benny and Kjeld accidentally threw loot to the garbage bin. Egon breaks to the local restaurant to get back on track with the finances, unfortunately he's caught and whole gang returns to Denmark. After some time Egon is released; Kjeld and Benny are waiting for him but this time he decides to break with tradition and work with somebody else on big diamond heist in Switzerland. New partners are dishonest though and he's broke again, but coming back to his old friends he has brand new plan in mind (which calls for a boat, bus and 100 balloons) that is going to get back his share and make revenge on dishonest partners at once.
