The Crackdown is an album electronic band Cabaret Voltaire recorded for Some Bizzare Records in 1983. The album shows Cabaret Voltaire beginning to move away from their industrial roots and leaning towards a more New Wave-type sound. This is Cabaret Voltaire's first album after Chris Watson's departure.
Tracks 10-13 constitute the "Doublevision EP", released as a bonus 12" with the original LP (with "Moscow" then "Badge of Evil" on the B-side), and available on all CD issues of the album.
