The Brock McGuire Band

The Brock McGuire Band is an Irish Folk group fronted by Paul Brock and Manus McGuire.

In 2004, they released their self titled album "Brock McGuire Band".

In November 2007 they performed with Altan and other trad groups at "Trad Blast" a charity concert organised by Manus McGuire and Denis Carey. During 2007, Paul Brock and Enda Scahill performed with The Chieftains as guest players.

Paul and Enda recorded a duet album called "Humdinger" released by Compass Records which was voted 'Irish Music Album Of The Year' by The Irish Times. Manus McGuire also released a solo album entitled "Fiddlewings" and Denis Carey released his own solo album, "Moving On", in 2009.

They are regular visitors to America and have played at the Cleveland Irish Festival. They toured Kansas, Alabama and Texas in February 2008 and Boston, New York in October 2008.

In 2009, they performed a 2 week tour of America.

The Brock McGuire band with Niamh Ní Charra performed on TG4's Geantrai na Nollag shown on Christmas Night which also featured Matt Molloy, John Carty, Arty McGlynn, Paul Brady, Liam Óg Ó Floinn and others.
