The Big Time is an American pop punk band formed in 2009. The band consists of vocalist and rhythm guitarist Derek Mrdjenovich, lead guitarist John Rickabaugh, bassist Dylan Auerbeck, and drummer David Applas. The Big Time's first album titled "One For The Books" was released on July 24, 2010. Their second album "My Life In Pieces" was released on June 11, 2011.

While still in high school, The Big Time formed and immediately started writing songs. After a few songs were written, they started out playing acoustic local shows in Altoona, Pennsylvania. When The Big Time became known in the area, they played their first show together as a band.
When The Big Time finally had enough content for an album, they went to Steve Studios in their hometown to put together their debut EP titled "One For The Books". The album was released on July 24, 2010.
In the following months after the release of "One For The Books", The Big Time started writing for their second EP. In December 2010, they traveled to Lancaster, Pennsylvania to start the album with Pin-Up Recording. Almost four months later, the album was complete. The Big Time released "My Life In Pieces" on June 11, 2011.
