Thathi (Urdu: تهاتهى) is a town in Gujar Khan Tehsil, Punjab, Pakistan. Thathi is village eastern part of Gujarkhan, and also south east of rawalpindi. Union council Thathi is most wealthy council in Gujarkhan with its large population being settled in uk.Towns & Unions in the City District of Rawalpindi - Government of Pakistan</ref>. According to the 1998 census of Pakistan, it had a population of 14,563( estimated over 30,000 in 2011).[1] The mayor or nazim of Thathi is CH GHULAM MURTAZA former banker of ubl jabber. Thathi is the home of CH MOHAMMAD AZEEM Tehsil nazim gujarkhan,Home of SIR ANWAR PARVEEZ 4th richest Pakistani, Chairman Bestway cash & carry uk, Betway cement pakistan. Union council thathi always forgotten by leaders of gujarkhan, There was no main development done in thathi till 2005. With hard work of CH GHULAM MURTAZA and CH MOHAMMAD AZEEM and thanks to sir anwar parveez now all main & links roads has being updated, every single house in union council thathi has electric connection, Half of union council has water supply. There is a 24 hour government hospital with MBBS doctor. All school buildings, furniture, computers,being updated by Bestway Foundation Trust. Girls college is under construction funded by sir anwar parveez. There is goverment boy high school, and government girls high school.Also free islamic school runs by HAJI MOHAMMAD HANIF brother of babu mohammad seerat (LATE). Subaidar abdul aziz, CH ZAFAR PAGARA jabber, ch aslam jabber, raja orangzaib, ch sheer mohammad, raja mahfooz, raja rabnavaz, ch iftikhar rehman (sain) ch zafar iqbal naib zazim, ch fazal karim, all working hard to make thathi one of the best in gujarkhan.

Lots of improvements have taken place in Thathi. Some not all thanks to the goverment, Bestway Foundation and Teh nazim Mohammad Azeem. It shows that if people work together, the sky is the limit. The village has truly prospered in the sense that we have a water tower in situ, alas no water is pouring through our taps as of yet.Hopefully this should commence soon. our schools standards of education have gone up exponetially as money has poured in from the Bestways foundation. We have electricity most of the time when load shedding isnt playing up.
