Thadiyoor

Thadiyoor is a village located in Pathanamthitta district, Kerala, India, approximately 18 kilometres (11 mi) from Tiruvalla and 9 kilometres (5.6 mi) from Ranni. It is separated by three panchayats.

The Aruvikuzhy waterfalls is located around 1 kilometre (0.62 mi) from the centre of the village and it is very near to the Sreekrishnaswamy temple. Charalkunnu which is of prominence as a Camp centre/convention centre for both religious groups and political parties ,is 2 kilometres (1.2 mi) from the village's centre.

As Thadiyoor is close to the town of Maramon, the site of India's largest Christian convention, most of the pilgrims and tourists travel through Thadiyoor, resulting in the tourism industry becoming of importance.

Thadiyoor has a Christian Youth Convention, conducted by the Kurianoor Shalem Marthoma Church.

The nearest town to Thadiyoor is Kozhencherry, which is 7 kilometres (4.3 mi) away. Thadiyoor lies 118 kilometres (73 mi) away from Thiruvananthapuram, a major city and the capital of Kerala Province. It is the only village with a private market, open on every Wednesday and Saturday in the region. The Public Health Centre situated in this area is the result of a long effort by a group of native women.
