Tešnjar

Old Serbian urban settlement, mostly originated in the 19th century. Unique example of old architecture in the interior of Serbia. Located on the right bank of Kolubara a long time was a trade center of Valjevo. It consists of one street that follows the river course Kolubara and several smaller streets below the hill. The name is probably received after the tight streets. Tešnjar is not a town-museum, on the contrary, except that he has the spirit of the past, and has a lot of life and dynamics, which contribute to a number of trade and catering facilities. Lately, Tešnjar has become famous in Serbian cinema. On the weekends, Tešnjar becomes one of youth's main places to go out for a pub crawl since there are many boemic pubs.
