Tervola is a municipality of Finland.
It is located in the province of Lapland, Finland. The municipality has a population of 3,435 (31 January 2011)[2] and covers an area of 1,594.38 square kilometres (615.59 sq mi) of which 32.66 km2 (12.61 sq mi) is water.[1] The population density is 2.2 inhabitants per square kilometre (5.7 /sq mi).
The municipality is unilingually Finnish.
