Tengyue (腾越镇) is a town in Tengchong County, Baoshan Prefecture, Yunnan province, China. It lies close to the border of Myanmar, where it traditionally goes by the name of Momein.
In the West it is most well known for being the site of the murder of British diplomat Augustus Margary on February 21, 1875, an event which led to the Chefoo Convention.
It was also the site of the China Inland Mission missionary James Fraser during the majority of his time working with the Lisu.
