"Ten Ton Hammer" is the first track on the heavy metal band Machine Head's second album The More Things Change..., as well as being the first song released from the album. A video was also made for the song.[1] It is the third track featured on the band's live album Hellalive. This song features a tuning that is a guitar in dropped B tuning, but the G string of the guitar (which would be E in this tuning) is tuned up to F. Robb Flynn has said this was to make the harmonics of the song sound better.
