Thomas Leo St. Germaine was a professional football player who played in the National Football League during the 1922 season, at age 37. That season he joined the NFL's Oorang Indians, a team based in LaRue, Ohio, composed only of Native Americans, and coached by Jim Thorpe. Ted was a Chippewa.[1]
Prior to joining the Indians, St. Germaine worked as an attorney. He was recruited to play for Oorang, in 1922 by Jim Thorpe.[2] He played college football at Yale, the Carlisle Indian School and Howard University.
