Tarxien Rainbows Football Club are a football team from Tarxien, a town in southern Malta. They currently play in the Maltese Premier League.

The club were founded as Little Rainbows in 1944, and participated in the Maltese Premier League for the 2009–10 season. The club was promoted to the best division after finishing as champions in the Maltese First Division in 2007/08. In 2008/09 the club finished level on points with fellow strugglers Hamrun Spartans and Msida St. Joseph. Hamrun had the worst head to head record and were relegated, while Tarxien Rainbows managed to avoid relegation with a playoff-win over Msida St. Joseph. In 2009–10 the season was totally different for the Rainbows as they managed to place 5th in the table and proceeded to the semi-finals of both domestic cup competitions that the club played.

In season 2009–2010, Tarxien Rainbows placed fifth in the championship pool above eternal rivals Hibernians F.C. As well, in season 2009–2010 Tarxien Rainbows won the derby three times in a row making it a historical season. As well, in the same season Tarxien reached the semi-final of the F.A. Trophy and the 100th Anniversary Cup.

In the 2010–11 season Tarxien Rainbows finished in the 5th place in the championship pool. It was a good season, finishing the First Round in the 2nd place. They had two derbies to play because there eternal rivals Hibernians finished in the relegation pool, one winning it and made it 4 derby wins in one year but lost the other one.In the same season they reached the Semi-Final of the U*BET FA Trophy.

As from the part of supporters Tarxien Rainbows made an enormous improvement in their support after they opened the Tarxien Rainbows Supporters Club (T.R.S.C) on the 24th of June 2009. The first committee was made up of 10 people : Mario Muscat (President), Aaron Caruana ( secretary), Keith Darmanin ( Treasurer ) , Kevin Bonavia ( Vice - President ) , Dillon Mercieca ( Member ) , Kenneth Bonavia ( Member ), Mark mercieca ( Member ), Marko Schembri ( Member ), Nigel Gatt ( Member ) , Jason Cortis( Member ).A Group of supporters that supports their team every game, in bad and good times. They made new chants, banners, flags and many things regarding support and entertainment in the stadium. Because of this the attendance grew bigger year after year and after 2 years in the Premier League they can be satisfied with the work they done. Sureley they have even bigger things for the future.
