Tapiwa Gwaza
Silvia Tapiwa Gwaza is a Malawian actress popular for her role as lawyer in the Malawian film, Seasons of a Life. She is currently pursuing roles on the Malawian stage as well as in the Nollywood film industry.
Career
Gwaza is a former cabin crew member for Air Malawi. She worked as an air hostess for 13 years prior to starting her acting career.[1] After resigning from her job at Air Malawi, she decided to take up acting and landed a role in Seasons of a Life.

- Seasons of a Life, written, shot, edited and director Charles Shemu Joyah of Fine Dawn Arts. The movie is internationally acclaimed and has been featured in international film festivals.[2] It is a Malawian court case drama that was filmed on location in Malawi.[3] about a domestic worker sexually molested by her employer. It was nominated in 8 categories at the 6th African Movie Academy Awards, including nominations for Best Screenplay and Best Original Soundtrack. Gwaza won an award for best Performance by a supporting actress.[4] The film has also been nominated for awards in the Kenya, Cairo, and Zanzibar Film festivals.[5]
