Taneyville is a village in Taney County, Missouri, United States. The population was 359 at the 2000 census. It is part of the Branson, Missouri Micropolitan Statistical Area.

As of the census[1] of 2000, there were 359 people, 134 households, and 90 families residing in the village. The population density was 797.8 people per square mile (308.0/km²). There were 155 housing units at an average density of 344.5 per square mile (133.0/km²). The racial makeup of the village was 97.49% White, 0.28% Pacific Islander, and 2.23% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 1.11% of the population.
There were 134 households out of which 41.0% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 49.3% were married couples living together, 15.7% had a female householder with no husband present, and 32.1% were non-families. 21.6% of all households were made up of individuals and 13.4% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.68 and the average family size was 3.23.
In the village the population was spread out with 33.1% under the age of 18, 7.8% from 18 to 24, 28.7% from 25 to 44, 16.4% from 45 to 64, and 13.9% who were 65 years of age or older.
