Talhar

Talhar (By:Engineer Zeeshan Hussain and Siraj A.Chang) Urdu-تلهار is a town of Badin District in the Sindh province of Pakistan

With the city having a population of approximately more than 50 Thousands inhabitants. Talhar is a Taluka (an administrative subdivision of the District Government) of District Badin along with Matli, Tando Bago and Golarchi (Shaheed Fazil Rahu) and Badin. Mainly here Khatri, Khuwaja, Chang, Jamali and Kuchhi tribes are living

Taluka Talhar is further administratively subdivided into six Union councils, Talhar-I, Dando, Tando Ghulam Hyder, Piro Lashari, Syed Pur and Rajo Khanani, Talhar is the capital of all these Union Councils.

Geographically Talhar coordinates are 24° 53' 0" North, 68° 49' 0" East and its original name (with diacritics) is Talhār.
