Talapady (Kannada, Tulu: ತಲಪಾಡಿ ) (Talapadi) is a village in Mangalore Taluk (Tehsil) of the Dakshina Kannada district of Karnataka state in India. Talapady borders the state of Kerala. National Highway 17 (NH-17), connecting Mangalore (Kudla or Mangaluru) to Kasaragod, passes through it. There is a checkpost here. There is a Durga Parameshwari temple in nearby Kinya village.
