The Unique Alpine TPG-1 [where "TPG" stands for German: Taktisches Prдzisions Gewehr ("Tactical Precision Rifle")][1] is a modular, multi-caliber, precision sniper rifle for tactical applications made in Austria.[2][3] This rifle is part of the equipment of the Hungarian police. In September 2008, German authorities blocked a shipment of 40 TPG-1 model sniper rifles from being shipped to Iran via France.[4]
