TOTEM
TOTal Elastic and diffractive cross section Measurement (TOTEM) is one of the six detector experiments at the Large Hadron Collider at CERN. The other five are: ATLAS, ALICE, CMS, LHCb, and LHCf. It shares intersection point IP5 with the Compact Muon Solenoid. The detector aims at measurement of total cross section, elastic scattering and diffractive processes.
