Grades

TLCA has grades K-12 TLCA has two campuses, "Melrose Campus" and the "Jackson Campus" The Melrose campus serves the elementary grades(K-6th grades) and the Jackson street campus serves the Jr. High/High School grades(7th-12th).

The TLCA mascot is the Eagle. The school colors are Carolina blue, black, and white.

Campuses

Melrose

The original Melrose campus is used as the K-6th grade campus. Melrose is home to the high school gymnasium, and the practice football field. TLCA also has plans to build the Jr. High/High School at this campus.

Secondary campus

The Secondary campus is the 7th-12th grade campus. At this campus, there are multiple portable buildings, and a Jr. High gymnasium.

Football

The 2009 Eagle football team played a half season as an 11-man team, then changed to six-man football, so that the team could participate in the T-CAL football district. The 2009 Eagles football team had a regular season record of 5-4 and in district went 1-2.

The 2010 Eagles football team has struggled in the first year of UIL Division 6A district football. Their 2010 record was 0-10 (overall) , 0-5 (district). The Eagles almost won their first game against the Irion County Hornets, but lost due to lack of time.

Volleyball

The 2009 TLCA Eagles volleyball team attended the state tournament in San Antonio, Texas and their tournament record was 2-2 and they ranked 5th.

Basketball

The 09-10 Eagles basketball team attended the state tournament in Waxahachie, Texas. The Lady Eagles played in the state championship game making it a cross-town match-up. With the TLCA Lady Eagles playing San Angelo Cornerstone Lions. The Lady Eagles lost after having the lead the first half.

Baseball

The Eagles baseball team played area teams, but experienced a winless inaugural season. They did not attend the T-CAL state tournament.

Softball

In 2011, the Lady Eagles softball team almost made it to a District 2-1A playoff spot after going 7-7 in district play.

Fine Arts

Fine arts at TLCA include band and choir.
