TGV Cinemas (formerly known as Tanjong Golden Village) is the second largest cinema chain in Malaysia. The largest competitor of the cinema is Golden Screen Cinemas.

The biggest TGV cinema is located in Sunway Pyramid, with 12 screens and 2598 seats. It had been undergoing renovations, and now has an additional 2 screens, up from the previous amount of 10 screens. The second largest TGV cinema is TGV Suria KLCC with 12 screens and 2459 seats. It was previously the largest TGV cinema in Malaysia, before being surpassed by the one in Sunway Pyramid.
TGV cinemas' tickets can be bought via the internet or at all the cinema outlets in Malaysia. Ticket prices may vary depending on the movies, seats, day that you choose.
The latest cinema outlet at the 1Shamelin, Cheras which officially opened at 11th November 2011. It houses 8 screening halls including a 3D digital hall with the lifestyle café, Cantina.
TGV Cinemas is to be on a rebranding exercise spree, launching their new concept first at TGV Wangsa Walk, followed by TGV Mesra Mall and also the other upcoming cinemas. They introduced a new type of cinema hall named as Beaniplex (also known as 'the bean bag hall'), which the seats are all replaced by bean bags cushion where moviegoers will be able to experience their movies in the comfort of bean bag cushion. There are three cinemas featured Cantina, the very first lifestyle café among TGV Cinemas in the Klang Valley, the three cinemas are TGV 1st Avenue, TGV 1Shamelin, TGV Sunway Pyramid.
TGV Cinemas launched their IMAX hall in TGV Sunway Pyramid on 15th December 2011. It is also the only IMAX hall in the country after the ceased operation IMAX hall located in Berjaya Times Square, where the original location is replaced by GSC MAXX. The first movie showed in the IMAX hall is Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol. According to TGV official Facebook page, the IMAX hall is built by combining Hall 6 and Hall 7. Apart from that, TGV Cinemas will launch their first and ever premiere class hall titled as TGV Club in the same location.
TGV currently has 17 cinemas all over Peninsular Malaysia(including the one which is undergoing renovation. Another 4 TGV Cinemas will be opening in the future, including 2 in East Malaysia. The cinemas are listed below.
