Subhuman are an italian thrash/death metal band from Pisa, Tuscany, Italy.

The band was founded in late 2001 as a cover band of thrash metal acts like Metallica, Testament, Slayer, Annihilator, Sepultura or Overkill. In 2003 Fabrizio "Zula" Ferzola joined the band as vocalist, they begins to write new songs in italian language and one year later recorded its first demo album, Delirio n°1. In 2006 Subhuman were chosen to play on the talent stage at the Metalcamp, in 2008 they opened the second stage at the Evolution Festival in Toscolano-Maderno and entered the Studio73 studios in Ravenna to record the debut album entitled Profondo Rozzo released one year later through the canadian label Maple Metal Records owned by John Belrose, the producer of Exciter's Heavy Metal Maniac. In 2010 they opened the Unholy Titans Tour date in Rome (with Deicide, Marduk, Vader and Decapitated) and played at the Gods of Metal, the biggest heavy metal festival in Italy.
