Subei Mongol Autonomous County

Not to be confused with Subei(苏北-蘇北), or northern Jiangsu.

Subei Mongol Autonomous County (simplified Chinese: 肃北蒙古族自治县; traditional Chinese: 蘇北蒙古族自治縣; pinyin: Sùběi Měnggǔzú Zìzhìxiàn) is an autonomous county in the prefecture-level city of Jiuquan in the northwestern Chinese province of Gansu. It has an area of 66,748km² and approximately 13,046 inhabitants (2000). Its administrative seat ("capital") is the town of Dangchengwan (党城湾镇), while there is another town, Mazongshan (马鬃山镇) and one township, Shibaocheng (石包城乡). [1]
