Stromatoveris is a genus of Cambrian ctenophore? fossil from Chengjiang deposits of Yunnan that was originally aligned with the fossil Charnia (strictly, the Charniomorpha) from the Ediacara biota.[1] However, such an affinity is developmentally implausible.[2]
