Stoopid Monkey, LLC is the production company of Seth Green and Matthew Senreich, established in 2005.[1] It is one of the producers of the animated television series Robot Chicken (with ShadowMachine Films, Sony Pictures Digital, and Williams Street), Titan Maximum and, starting in 2005, Family Guy as well.
The company has signed a two-picture deal with Dimension Films that includes the production of a stop-motion animated Christmas movie titled "Naughty or Nice."[2] and the motion-capture film Mars Needs Moms.
Seth Green and Matthew Senreich are creating an animated comedy series taking place in the Star Wars universe, with George Lucas as a producer. The series is said to be in vein of Robot Chicken, with a collection of comedic shorts.
The name "Stoopid Monkey" is a reference to a line from Professor Farnsworth in the Futurama episode "Mars University".
Every episode of Robot Chicken displays one of many still Stoopid (spelled "Stoop!d") Monkey production logos following the credits; each depicts a cartoon monkey performing an obviously foolish and/or life-threatening activity (or the aftermath of one) as an irritated Seth Green is heard saying, "Stupid monkey." Each Stoopid Monkey card is drawn by artist/actor Adam Talbott.
