Stibbington – in the far north-west corner of Huntingdonshire District, Cambridgeshire, England – is a village which lies in a loop of the River Nene and in the civil parish of Sibson-cum-Stibbington. It is near Wansford on the Great North Road, in Peterborough District.
The village is about 6½ miles from Peterborough. The church[1] stands about a quarter of a mile east of the Great North Road near the ford to Sutton. Stibbington Hall[2], near the church, is a 17th-century house. Stibbington House[3] lies between the Oundle Road and the Nene, and was the residence of Sir Stephen Hastings. Stibbington Manor Farm, on the south-west side of the road near Sibson Manor House, was built about 1625.
