Stewart Milne CBE (born c.1950) is a Scottish businessman and football club chairman, from Alford, Aberdeenshire.
Milne founded the Aberdeen-based Stewart Milne Group in 1975, a housebuilding contractor. He started off his business renovating bathrooms. As its chairman, he earned the 2005 Scottish Entrepreneur of the Year award and is rumoured to have amassed a personal fortune of around £400million.
In 2008, he received his Commander of the Order of the British Empire (CBE) for services to the house building industry in Scotland.[1]
Milne lives in Bieldside Aberdeen in a multi-million pound home which was renovated in 2009 by Stewart Milne Group.
Milne is also a major shareholder and chairman of Aberdeen F.C., a position he has held since 1998. He joined the board of directors in 1994 to replace the late Dick Donald.
Milne was famous for wearing a wig however he has now stopped this.
In 2009 Stewart became honourary Chairman of Cornton Football Club, due to his contribution to football in the area.
