Stencoose is a village in Cornwall, England, located in the parish of St Agnes.[1]It is located north of Redrut, near the village of Mawla. Nearly a mile east of Stencoose is Wheal Concord, a tin mine.[2] The Stencoose and Mawla United Mine was worked 1860-62.[3] Stencoose underwent archaeological exploration in 1996.[4] The Haweis family owned a forty or fifty acre estate in the village for many years.
