Steenwerck is a commune in the Nord department in northern France. It is located about 25 km (16 mi) north of Lille and as of 2003 has a population of 3260.[1]

Steenwerck is home to the 100 km à pied de Steenwerck[2] marathon which features a traditional marathon, and a 100 km (62 mi) marathon, although most local residents prefer to merely walk one lap (roughly 24 km).

Steenwerck also has its own giant, as is tradition "au nord", which is named Totor and is one of the tallest, measuring 5.70 m (0.00354 mi).
