Stan Horne (born 17 December 1944) is an English former professional footballer who played as a midfielder. Horne was the first black player in the history of his first three teams - Aston Villa, Manchester City and Fulham.[1] He also played for Chester City and Rochdale, making a total of 201 appearances in the Football League.[2] He was forced to retire from professional football due to high blood pressure.[3]
