Staintondale (or Stainton Dale) is a small village and civil parish in the Scarborough district of North Yorkshire, England. It is situated 7 miles (11 km) north west of Scarborough town centre.
According to the 2001 UK census, Staintondale parish had a population of 319 - note this figure includes Ravenscar as well as Staintondale.[1] The parish council is Staintondale Parish Council and covers both Staintondale and Ravenscar.[2] Staintondale railway station closed in 1965.
