St. Xavier’s Institution, is a private high school located in located in Panihati, West Bengal, India. It is a co-educational English medium I.S.C.-syllabus school that educates up to year 12.[1] The school has an open admission policy, accepting students of all castes, creeds and religion.[2] St. Xavier's was founded by the late Pravash Chandra Banerjee, at Agarpara, on 1 July 1967.[1]

St. Xavier's Institution has classes from nursery through secondary school.[3] The junior, primary, and secondary units use a Indian Certificate of Secondary Education (ICSE) syllabus and the higher secondary units use an Indian School Certificate (ISC) syllabus.
The school is managed by the Suburban Educational Society, a non-profit organization registered under the West Bengal Societies Registration Act of 1961. The Society consists of educators and social workers and its Executive Committee forms the Managing Committee of the school by nomination. The Managing Committee of the school is guided by the Executive Committee and answers to it.
