St. Roch Secondary School

St. Roch Secondary School is a high school in Brampton, Ontario, Canada. The school's principal is Casey Homick and the vice principal is Kirstine Fenwick. The school is a Regional Centre for the Arts, and is the home of Roch TV which is an in-school show about the school and its events. Roch TV is run by Mr. Fujiwara and a Roch TV crew. School teams are known as the Ravens.

The school is located at 200 Valleyway Dr. Its catchment area is bounded by Winston Churchill Boulevard, the CN railway, Chinguacousy Road and Highway 407 West.

Chaplaincy

St. Roch is a Catholic School that includes a chapel. The school represents itself through St. Roch. The designated parish of the school is St. Jerome's Parish.

Athletics

The mascot of the athletics teams is the Raven. St. Roch includes a variety of teams including boys football teams, Junior Boys Volleyball Team, Junior Girls Volleyball Team, Junior Boys Basketball Team, Junior Girls Basketball Team, Junior Swimming Team, Junior Hockey Team, Junior Girls Soccer Team and Junior Boys Soccer Team. St.Roch's fanbase is considered to be one of the best in ROPSSAA, due to the schools amazing spirit, sold out football games, and higher attendance rates for other sports such as basketball, volleyball, soccer e.t.c.

Library

The school library is open from Monday to Friday from 7:30 am to 3:30 pm. A. Biocca, K. Tang make up the library staff.

Guidance

The guidance staff is made up of: S. Tomolillo, C. Camara, L. Gonano, T. Brazil, J. King-Watson and A. Noble.

Regional Arts Program

St. Roch is a school for the arts. Mr. Marr is the head of the program which includes majors in: Instrumental Music, Vocal Music, Dramatic Arts, Communications and Media Arts and Dance.

Roch TV

Roch TV is a monthly event in which the Roch TV crew makes a video about the month they were presently in and show off important events and sporting events as well. Part of Roch TV include Around the Roch,O Canada,Commentary from two hosts, bloopers, the events and a reflection.[1][2]
