Sri Vanamamalai Permual Temple is one of the Hindu temples dedicated to Lord Vishnu located Vanamamalai, Tamilnadu, India in the banks of Thamiraparani river. The temple is classified as "Divya Desams", the 108 temples of Vishnu reverred by the 12 poet saints, or Alwars.[1]

The Temple

This is the place Tirumangai Alvar attained salvation. The temple has a large gopuram and a large temple compound having 5 prakarams(closed precincts of a temple).[2] The temple has a 5-tier rajagopuram.
