Spathiostemon is a plant genus of the family Euphorbiaceae comprising 2 species. One of them is endemic to Peninsular Thailand, the other one ranging throughout Malesia (from the Malay Peninsula to Papua New Guinea, though absent from Sumatra).
It was thought that Clonostylis S.Moore was a synonym of Spathiostemon Blume. Clonostylis is now provisionally treated as a monotypic genus based on Clonostylis forbesii.
