The Southwestern Statistical Region is one of eight arbitrary statistical regions in the Republic of Macedonia. Southwestern, located in the west and southwestern part of the country, borders Albania to the west. Internally, it borders the Pelagonia, Polog, Skopje, and Vardar statistical regions.
