South County Hospital is a private, not-for-profit acute care hospital located in Wakefield, Rhode Island.

The 100 bed hospital was founded in a house in 1919. In 1925 "a new hospital was built...on 6 acres on Kenyon Avenue that was formerly the town farm."[1] The hospital evenutally expanded to include 13 acres (53,000 m2) and a 345,000-square-foot (32,100 m2) facility.[2] Recently, the Frost Family Pavilion opened with 60 private rooms.[3][4]
