Soumada

Soumada, also spelled Soumatha (Greek: Σουμάδα) is a popularly-consumed non-alcoholic soft-drink in Greece that is made from almonds. It can also be delicately flavored with flowers (providing variations of the aroma and the flavor).

Soumada is usually a local product where there are many almond trees. For example, Soumada is made on the island of Nisyros in Greece and in the town of Neapoli, on the island of Crete, in Greece.
