Biography

Composer Soner Canozer, born in the year of 1975, began to music when he was in secondary school. He performed on the stage in 1994 for the first time and stepped into his professional music life.

Canozer broke grounds in many ways in terms of his compositions and projects. He represents our country successfully in international music platform.

In 2001, he put his personal symphonic rock project Almôra into practice. He released 5 albums and 3 singles within this project in Turkey and worldwide. All of these albums were qualified as the Most Successful Albums in their years of release by top line music critics. Two of them were released in Japan and four were released in Mexico.

Soner Canozer assured his place in international music platform with two songs from “Shehrâzad” album being used by the legendary Japan musical group “Takarazuka Revue” in 2005, in “Revue of Dreams – Jazzy Fairies” musical in Tokyo Takarazuka Theater. This musical brought Canozer with Ritchie Blackmore, Ronnie James Dio, Enrique Garcia and Chris Impelliteri in the same performance. This musical was released in DVD format in 2006 by TCA Pictures all over the world.

Soner Canozer has left 15 years behind in music by 2009 and celebrated this with “Masalcinin On Bes Yili (Fifteen Years of the Storyteller)” album. Canozer was responsible of the composing and orchestration of the album and the songs were performed by The City of Prague Philharmonic Orchestra with Czech conductor Adam Klemens.

Many well known and successful artists accompanied Soner CANOZER in this celebrating album: Doro Pesch, Umut Akyurek, Cem Adrian, Ozge Fiskin, Hayko Cepkin, Nazli Deniz Boran, Derin Togar and Bilge Kocaarslan have vocalized Canozer's songs.
