"Someday" is a song by the indie rock band The Strokes, and the third single from Is This It. It peaked at #17 on the U.S. Alternative Songs chart[2] and at #27 on the U.K. Singles Chart.[3]

Music video

The music video for the song was directed by Roman Coppola and features appearances by Slash, Duff McKagan, and Matt Sorum - the guitarist, bassist, and drummer from Guns N' Roses and Velvet Revolver - as well as the members of Guided by Voices.[4] The video also features Richard Karn as himself, while The Strokes take on Guided By Voices in a game of Family Feud. The group Guided by Voices won, 350-211.

Appearances in other media

This song was featured in the 2006 movie Click,[5] starring Adam Sandler, and on the Major League Baseball 2K8 soundtrack.[6][7]

It was sampled on Rhymefest's song "Devil's Pie" - produced by Mark Ronson - from his album Blue Collar.[8]
