The 2011 Solihull Council election took place on 5 May 2011 to elect members of Solihull Metropolitan Borough Council in the West Midlands, England. One third of the council was up for election and the Conservative party gained overall control of the council from no overall control.

Following the election the only independent, former Liberal Democrat, councillor Howard Allen, joined the Green Party, taking the Green Party to 4 seats.[1]
