Sojat is a city, a municipality and Tehsil headquarter in Pali district in the Indian state of Rajasthan. Sojat is famous for its "Mehandi" which is known as henna also. It is India's largest "Mehandi" production city. 70% of "Mehandi" production is used for export to all over the world. Bharat Tiwari (Birth Place).

Sojat was known as Tamra Nagari in ancient time as there was production of copper in high quantity. Later Lime stone was produces and now Henna.
