Smast is a village on the left bank of the river Soča in the Kobarid Municipality in the Littoral region of Slovenia.
The local church is built on a small hill outside the village and is dedicated to Saint Laurence. The Slovene poet Simon Gregorčič is buried in the adjacent cemetery[2].
