Skreen (Irish: An Scrín, meaning "the shrine") is a village in County Sligo, Ireland. It is the birthplace of the poet Thady Connellan (Tadhg Ó Coinnialláinn) and the mathematician and physicist Sir George Gabriel Stokes (1819–1903). It shares its name with a village in County Meath which is locally spelt Skryne.
