Skomarje is a settlement in the Pohorje hills to the northwest of Zreče in northeastern Slovenia. The area was traditionally part of Lower Styria. It is now included with the rest of the Zreče municipality into the Savinja statistical region.[2]
The local parish church in the village is dedicated to Saint Lambert and belongs to the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Maribor. It is a medieval church which was extended in the 18th century.[3]
