Sitarla

The sitarla is an instrument invented by Hideki Ishima[1] and Kenichi Hagiwara which combines aspects of the sitar with the solid body electric guitar.[2][3]. It is a hollow-bodied instrument, and currently only two exist in the world[4]. Ishima now plays the instrument exclusively[5], and it has replaced his guitar playing in Flower Travellin' Band[6]. It is featured on their album We Are Here[7].
