Fleet

In 2007, the bus provider company introduced double-decker bus (Scania L94IB)[2] in plan to expand the company service to accommodate increasing demand. All the buses are refurbished bus from Nice Express with each priced RM350,000.[3]

Sistem Kenderaan Seremban – Kuala Lumpur Sdn Bhd (SKS) invested RM8.4 million to buy 14 buses using natural gas for vehicles (NGV) for 2009.

Eight NGV buses started operating June 2009 and the other six were under assembly and would be ready in stages. Prior this, 11 NGV buses were in operation since May last year. In addition to being environment-friendly, the buses would help reduce operating costs. The company aimed to use only NGV buses by 2011.[4]

Currently, the company has 69 buses, including 13 double-decker bus, with 80 workers.[4][5]

The company has invested RM5 million to buy another five new double-decker buses in 2010. SKS Director Rosli Ramlan said three of the buses started plying the Kuala Lumpur-Seremban Highway on July while the rest will hit the highway on August. With the additional five buses, they have 13 double-decker buses now. Each bus can carry 60 passengers.[1]

It plans to increase the number of its double-decker buses in future based on passenger response and need. SKS chairman Mohamad Nizar Datuk Seri Mohamad Najib said

We also plan to have all 69 buses as double-deckers in future. This means, SKS-KL will increase the number of seats by 33 per cent or 8,000 for the Seremban-Kuala Lumpur route daily.[5]

Future plan

On the company's future planning, Rosli, who is also SKS manager, said the company planned to buy 10 more double-decker buses next year subject to the people's response for the service.
