Sir John Acland, 1st Baronet (c. 1591 – 24 August 1647) was the son of Sir Arthur Acland and Eleanor Mallet.

He was created Baronet of Columb John, in the County of Devon on 24 June 1644. On his death in 1647 he was succeeded in the baronetcy by his eldest son. He was buried at Stoke D'Abernon, Surrey.
He was High Sheriff of Devon in 1641. He fought in the Civil War as a Royalist, holding out a garrison at Columb John after all others had surrendered to Parliament.
He married Elizabeth Vincent, daughter of Sir Francis Vincent, 1st Baronet and Sarah Paulet, c1635, and had issue:
