Singapore Media Academy (SMA) (Chinese: 新加坡传媒学院), a wholly owned subsidiary of MediaCorp, is an appointed Media Continuing Education and Training (CET) centre for the Creative Industries. Aspiring talents and working professionals can now look forward to upgrading themselves through the nationally recognised Creative Industries (CI) Workforce Skills Qualifications (WSQ) training programmes at SMA. Incorporated since November 2005, Singapore Media Academy consolidates over 40 years of expertise in broadcasting and media management in Singapore, and offers training, educational and consultancy services to address the needs of the local and regional media industries.

Continuing Education and Training (CET) Centre

SMA was appointed by the Singapore Workforce Development Agency (WDA) in October 2008 as a media Continuing Education and Training (CET) centre to offer WSQ training under the Creative Industries WSQ (CI WSQ) framework, which was developed to address manpower and training needs of the media industry in Singapore.[1]

The campus is currently situated at Clarke Quay, Riverside Point, to provide best-in-class training at highly subsidised rates for aspiring talents and working professionals seeking to embark on a career in the media industry.[2]
