Sindoscopus australis is a species of sand stargazer, and the only species in the genus Sindoscopus.[3] It is a subtropical blenny found around Chile, in the southeastern Pacific Ocean.[4] It was named by H.W. Fowler and B.A. Bean in 1923, originally under the name Gillellus australis.[5]
