Simethis planifolia, called Kerry Lily, is a bulbous plant of the family family Xanthorrhoeaceae, subfamily Hemerocallidoideae.[1] It grows in dry places especially near the coast in western Europe. Its common name is based on its occurrence at a few sites in County Kerry, Ireland.
